Asparagus and Swiss Cheese Bake

1 pound asparagus
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
3 slices Swiss cheese
1 tablespoon parsley
1 dash paprika

Clean and slice asparagus into one-inch lengths. This is important, otherwise, if your wife is like mine, she will cut the spears in half when they come out of the oven, take the heads and leave you with the lower end of the stems. If they are already cut up and mixed up under a pile of cheese, this type of behavior is forestalled.

Place asparagus in baking pan with margarine or butter. Place Swiss Cheese slices over top. (You can also use mozzarella.) Sprinkle on spices. Bake in 350 degree oven for a half hour or so. A little longer or a little less will not hurt it.
