Cheese and Broccoli Soup with a Baked Potato

Serving Size : 4
Preparation Time :0:15

4 potatoes
1 can cheese soup
1 can of milk
1/2 head broccoli
1 dash pepper
1 dash garlic powder

Potatoes may be baked in the oven, in which case they should be wrapped in foil and baked at 375 degrees for about an hour. Or they may be cooked in the microwave for about ten minutes after having been thoroughly punctured with a fork.

While potatoes are cooking. Place cheese soup (You can also use cheese and broccoli soup) in a sauce pan, add 1 can of milk. Set on medium heat. Cut broccoli into fairly small pieces - if you are willing to cook this for a while you can put the broccoli directly into the soup. However, if you are in a hurry, you might wish to blast them with the microwave for about three minutes first.

Add spices to soup. When soup and potatoes are both done, slice into potato top and place in a bowl. Dump soup over potato. You can also sprinkle a few chopped chives on top of this for a classy look, or even some bacon bits.

To make this recipe really easy, use broccoli cheese soup instead of muddling around with fresh broccoli
