Serving Size : 8
Preparation Time :0:20
1 Box Jiffy Pizza Dough
5 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup from a can of hunts sausage spaghetti sauce
12 ounces of pepperoni - sliced
5 fresh mushrooms
8 ounces shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
dash red pepper
Mix boxed dough with flour and then add just enough warm tap water to dampen all dry ingredients. (This isn't much water so go light on the water and only add more if the dough seems crumbly.) This makes a light and crispy, yet thick crust.
Spread 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over pizza pan. Now plop the pizza dough onto the pan. Make a well in the dough (it will be sticky). Dump in remaining oil and spread in a circular motion until crust reaches the outer edges of the pan.
Pop into oven at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes. While this is baking take the opportunity to chop onions, mushrooms, etc.
When the required 10 minutes to cook the crust has elapsed remove it from the oven and spread on sauce, sprinkle on spices and then toss on the remaining toppings, being sure to leave the cheese for last.
Put back in oven and cook for 12 to 16 minutes.
You may experiment with toppings and sauces to make your own optimum pizza.
