Chicken Pot Pie

1 chicken breast
1 potato
1/2 onion
1 carrot
3 mushroms
1 can mushroom soup
1 dash pepper
1/2 tablespoon basil
1/2 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon oil
1/2 cup peas - frozen or fresh
1 pie crust

Put oil in pan on medium heat. Cut up chicken breasts and toss into pan. Clean and cut the vegetables (I think mushroom constitutes a vegetable - or maybe it is a fungus) into chunks. Throw vegetables (except peas) into pan along with spices. When the chicken is brown, dump in the mushroom soup and frozen peas, stir vigorously.

Dump entire contents of pan into pie shell - cover over with pie dough either solid or cross hatched. Put in oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.

Suggested Beer: Colt 45
Serving Ideas : This is good with white rice.
