1 pound beef stew meat or hamburger
1 can Cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
1 dash pepper
1 teaspoon oil
12 ounces egg noodles
This is a great, quick meal. Another of many that are made with the ubiquitous Campbell's mushroom soup.
Cut beef into strips. Fry in oil with sliced onions and mushrooms. When sufficiently brown dump in the can of soup then dump in sour cream. Add pepper.
Boil egg noodles as per instructions on packet.
Lay down bed of noodles. Ladle on sauce.
Don't call this dish Strokinoff in front of your guests. No one will want to eat it.
