Grilled Steak Recipe

Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time: 0:15

2 pounds beef t-bone steak
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 onion
1 tablespoon butter

On the grill, simply flop on the raw steak, sprinkle on the salt and pepper. Brown both sides and that's it. Fry the onions in a seperate frying pan, per instructions below.

When the rain is pouring or it's too cold to stand around the grill with a beer and a fearsome looking two pronged fork, try frying your steaks. Admittedly, you will not get the same charcoal flavor, yet an iron frying pan will impart a flavor all its own. Be sure to warm the skillet first. Place a slice of butter or margarine in the pan. When it is bubbling spread it around the base of the pan, then throw in the meat. Add onions, salt and pepper. Brown each side for approximately five minutes...more or less depending on your taste. This is a good meal for a Sunday afternoon in the fall when your favorite football team is hashing it out with the Oakland Raiders. Don't forget. The to fry it fast to preserve the juices and the tenderness.

Serving Ideas : With corn on the cob and baked potatoes.
